About Me
I'm Jacqueline, the founder of PlusOne Advantage. I started this business because I kept seeing the same pattern: business owners doing great work, generating real revenue, and still unsure whether they were actually making money or why cash always felt tighter than it should.
With a background in banking and financial services, I have worked on the finances of businesses at every stage of growth. I hold an Accounting degree and an MBA, and since launching PlusOne Advantage I have worked with clients across trades, painting and contracting, HVAC, janitorial and cleaning services, marketing and creative agencies, event management, and business coaching and consulting. That breadth of experience means I understand how a service business actually operates, not just how to record transactions.
What I do is straightforward. I keep your books clean, your reports current, and make sure you always have a clear picture of where your business stands. Not just at tax time. Every single month. And unlike your accountant, I am in your books year-round, not just when it is time to file.
I work with service-based business owners across Canada and the United States who are done guessing at their numbers and ready to make confident, informed decisions. Whether you are a consultant, coach, contractor, or agency owner looking for reliable monthly bookkeeping, financial reporting, or bookkeeping cleanup, that is exactly what I do.
I do not prepare taxes, manage payroll, process bill payments, or follow up on outstanding customer invoices. Those functions are specific to your business and are best handled by you or your team. That is intentional. The work I take on, I do well.
Outside of work you will find me on the golf course or planning my next travel adventure.
